What sorts of people do you train?
Beginners and also advanced practitioners who have trained in other arts.
Is the training suitable for women
Yes – I would say that my most powerful students – pound for pound – are often the females. This is because females must learn to use good technique as they dont have the luxury of using their arm muscles and poor technique to get power. Read more.
How much does it cost?
Prices start at £6.25 per two hour session and your first class is always free with no obligation to join. This club is purely run for the love of Martial Arts and is not here to make the instructor wealthy. Cosequently there are no charges for joining, equipment, uniforms or gradings. You only pay for the training.
How would you describe the clubs culture and ethos?
Hard training, fun, progress and no egos.

Warrior Arts has been running in the local area for the past 10 years.
Do you wear uniforms?
No. Students train in normal gym clothing and trainers. Club teeshirts are available, but these are completely optional.

No. All required equipment including pads, sticks, kick shields, training knives / guns are provided by the instructor. There is no additional charge for using this equipment.
Do you do weapons training?
Yes. Knife, Stick and Gun. These are always based on realistic real life situations.
Is the training safe?
Yes. For seniors: Full contact at times, but students are protected by special equipment. These drills do however feel very real – and the pressure is on.
Is this club suitable for cross training, I want to keep training in other martial arts too.
This club is NOT geared up for cross-training with other martial arts. The way of moving is very different to other arts and cross training does not work well.
What is the minimum student age?
Due to the effectiveness of the techniques the club is only suitable for students who are over 21 years old.
